Brent Wakefield concentrates his practice in the area of general civil litigation including contract and tort defense, products liability defense, personal injury defense, and insurance defense.
In 1995, Mr. Wakefield received his B.A. in History/Political Science from Arkansas Tech University in Russellville, AR. While at Arkansas Tech, Mr. Wakefield was an active member of Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity, holding various leadership roles.
In 1999, Mr. Wakefield received his J.D. from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock School of Law. While in law school, he served as Associate Notes Editor and finally as Associate Editor-In-Chief of the UALR Law Review. Also, Mr. Wakefield clerked at the Pulaski County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office for two years.
Before joining the law firm in 2007, Mr. Wakefield served in the United States Air Force Judge Advocate General’s Corps. He was stationed at Shaw Air Force Base, Sumter, SC where he served as Chief of Military Justice prosecuting numerous courts-martial. Mr. Wakefield also served at Randolph Air Force Base, San Antonio, TX where he concentrated on Federal Labor Law issues. Finally, Mr. Wakefield spent three years at Sheppard Air Force Base, Wichita Falls, TX defending medical malpractice cases against the Air Force and serving as an instructor at the Air Force School of Healthcare Sciences. He achieved the rank of Major before separating and moving back to Arkansas.
Mr. Wakefield is a member of the American, Arkansas and Pulaski County Bar Associations. His married to Emily and has one daughter, Hollis.
