Professional Experience
T. Kent Smith is a member of the firm’s construction law practice group. Prior to joining the firm, he served as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney for the Sixth Judicial District and was a Division Chief within the prosecutor’s office, where he tried over 120 cases to juries. He joined the firm in 2008.

Noteworthy
- Awarded the Silver Key for distinguished service to the American Bar Association.
- One of only three law students in the nation to sit as a voting member in the American Bar Association’s House of Delegates.
- Worked as lobbyist for the American Bar Association’s Law Student Division, successfully lobbying for the historic right to argue the issue of in-school interest exemptions on student loans directly to the United States Congress.
