Spence Fricke concentrates his practice in the general area of personal injury defense litigation, particularly products liability defense including automobile products liability and toxic tort defense. He also practices in the areas of premises liability and professional liability (legal) defense.
Mr. Fricke is a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, and he is a member of the International Association of Defense Counsel, the Arkansas Association of Defense Counsel, the American Bar Association, the Arkansas Bar Association, the Pulaski County Bar Association, the Defense Research Institute, and the William R. Overton Inn of Court.
Mr. Fricke was voted outstanding attorney of the year by the Arkansas Association of Defense Counsel for 1999-2000. He was also named to the list of Mid-South Super Lawyers for 2006.
Mr. Fricke received his undergraduate degree from Southwestern at Memphis (Rhodes College) and his J.D. degree from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. From 1979 through 1981, he was the law clerk for Justices Conley Byrd and Richard Mays of the Arkansas Supreme Court. From 1981 to 1982, he was an Assistant City Attorney for the City of North Little Rock, Arkansas. He has been with the Barber Law Firm since 1982, and is currently a Director and Stockholder.
