Mike Hale joined the firm in 1968 and has been a trial lawyer for 39 years specializing in malpractice defense, aviation and products liability. He earned both his J.D. and undergraduate degrees from the University of Arkansas.

Currently, Mr. Hale is involved in ATV litigation for Honda, Yamaha and Suzuki. His product liability clients also include Freightliner, Oshkosh Truck Corporation, Nissan, Nummi, Isuzu, Mercedes, Mitsubishi, Rheem, Borg-Warner, Toyota, Matsuhita, United Technologies, Teledyne, Continental Motors, Kone, Inc., Frito-Lay Dean Foods, and Volkswagen. Mr. Hale is currently handling aviation litigation for Southwest Airlines, Northwest Airlines, U.S. Air, United Airlines, Bell-Helicopter, Delta, Sikorsky, American Airlines, and Continental Airlines, Inc. He was the managing attorney for 125 personal injury and wrongful death claims arising from the crash of American Airlines Flight 1420, in 1999. His insurance clients include CNA, Crum & Forster, Allianz, Global Aerospace, USAIG, XL Aerospace, AIG, The London Agency, Federated Insurance, Sentry, Tokio-Marine, Yasuda, Dart Transit and Sumitomo Marine & Fire Insurance Co.

Mr. Hale is a member of the International Society of Barristers and served on its board from 1993 through 1999. In addition, Mr. Hale is a member of the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel, American Society of Law and Medicine, Pilot's Bar Association, Aviation Insurance Association, Arkansas Association of Defense Counsel, Inter-Pacific Bar Association and National Transportation Safety Board Bar Association. He is also a member of the American, Arkansas, and Pulaski County Bar Associations. He is currently serving on the Torts Committee and the Civil Procedure Committee of the Arkansas Bar Association.

Mr. Hale is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals, the United States District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Arkansas and the Supreme Court of the State of Arkansas.
