R. Kenny McCulloch To Lead Construction Law Seminar For AGC
R. Kenny McCulloch, who directs the Construction Law Practice Group at the Barber Law Firm, will lead a seminar with other firm attorneys on December 7, focused on changes in construction law that are likely to significantly impact construction firms in 2012. Topics include:
- Review of construction defect claims under CGL Policies
- Review of recent changes in Arkansas statutory lien law that affect contractors’ legal rights
- How recent changes to AIA contracts (including waivers of subrogation clauses) impact construction companies
- Review of recent case law pertaining to construction including spoliation and license/no sue statutory clause case
- How to avoid being sued
- What to do if you are sued
